Committe Descriptions
Committee sign-ups take place at the August Parents' Meeting. Parents who do not choose a committee at the August Parents' Meeting will be assigned to one.
Field Trips
Work with the Teachers to arrange field trips. Create student name tags. Prepare, distribute and collect permission slips and money, as well as attend the field trips. One parent from each class needed.
Historian/Photographer
Work with the 2nd VP/Publicity to keep a record of activities and events through pictures and posters. Prepare a "Let's Get Acquainted" booklet for school families, and possibly work on a year book with the Teachers. One parent from each class needed.
Hospitality
Work with the Hospitality Chairperson to organize refreshments and set up tables before meetings, special events, and graduation. One parent needed from each class.
Cleaning
Works with the Teachers. Cleans classroom, equipment at specific times throughout the year. Keeps a cleaning schedule and record log. Maintains cleaning supplies. One parent from each class needed.
Graduation
Work with the Teachers to plan and set up the Graduation festivities. Three parents needed from the 3s class only.
Parties
Work with the Teachers to plan parties and activities for Halloween, Christmas, Valentine's Day, and Easter. Two parents from each class needed.
Scheduling
Schedules parent helpers. Works with the Secretary to get the schedule on the calendar. One parent from the 4s class needed.
Ways & Means
Work with the first Vice President on organizing and working the fundraisers. Two parents from each class needed.
